Building A Dream Team
Discovering the power of shared goals.
In every organization, there is a desire to create a dream team. A dream team consists of colleagues who excel in their respective roles and work seamlessly together. A great workplace is not solely defined by its perks, but by the investment in a dream team comprised of highly talented individuals who are motivated to pursue ambitious shared goals. Collaboration, information sharing, and a culture that discourages politics are essential elements of a dream team. It is in a place where camaraderie thrives, colleagues push each other to new heights, and fulfillment, professional growth, and enjoyment are found.
A dream team comprises of highly talented individuals who are aligned and motivated to work together towards a common goal. They are driven by a shared vision for success and committed to helping each other achieve their individual and collective goals. Such teams consistently outperform competitors, nurture talent from diverse sources, and create a workplace where everyone feels valued and appreciated. But what makes a dream team successful?
One of the key factors is shared goals. When individuals and the organization have shared goals, they are more likely to be aligned and motivated to work together towards a common purpose. This alignment can lead to greater productivity, innovation, and overall success.
For example, a software company might have a shared goal of developing the next generation of software. While team members might have their own individual goals, such as developing new skills, leading a project, or becoming a technical expert, all these goals would be aligned with the shared goal of the organization.
To create a culture of shared goals, organizations need to start by being clear about their overall vision and mission. Defining what they want to achieve as an organization is crucial. Once a clear vision is established, it can be broken down into smaller, more manageable goals that individuals and teams can work towards.
Furthermore, organizations need to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork. This involves encouraging team members to share ideas and knowledge and providing opportunities for them to work together on projects. By promoting collaboration, organizations can harness the collective intelligence and diverse perspectives of their team members, leading to better outcomes.
Celebrating successes and learning from failures is also essential. By celebrating successes, organizations reinforce the behaviors that led to those successes and motivate team members to continue performing at their best. Learning from failures helps prevent repeating mistakes and encourages continuous improvement.
Building a dream team is an ongoing process that requires constant attention to attracting and retaining talent, fostering collaboration, and celebrating success. Here are some tips for building a dream team:
Hire for attitude, not just aptitude: Look for people who are passionate about your organization's mission and are willing to work hard to achieve shared goals
Create a culture of trust and respect: Team members need to feel comfortable sharing their ideas and taking risks. A safe and supportive environment promotes open communication and creativity
Provide regular feedback: Help team members identify their strengths and weaknesses so that they can continue to develop and grow. Constructive feedback contributes to personal and professional growth
Celebrate successes: When team members achieve their goals, take the time to acknowledge and celebrate their accomplishments. Recognizing their efforts boosts motivation and engagement

In a dream team, there is no place for hyper-competent individuals with toxic behaviors that hinder teamwork. Respectful interactions and a positive work environment are crucial. When highly capable people work together effectively, they inspire each other to be more creative, productive, and successful as a team than they could be individually. Building a dream team is about creating a cohesive unit that works synergistically towards a shared vision and common goals.

Infoglen Celebrated World Rainforest Day
Last month, we celebrated World Rainforest Day on 22 June, a special day dedicated to honoring the remarkable beauty and significance of our planet's rainforests. These extraordinary ecosystems serve as a vital source of oxygen, water, food, and medicines, while also playing a crucial role in regulating the global climate.
At Infoglen, as part of our ongoing GreenGlen - Reforestation project, we collaborated with One Tree Planted to plant an impressive total of 500 trees. This initiative builds upon the success we achieved last year with your generous support, when together we planted over 2,800 trees.
Our collective goal for this year is to reach an ambitious milestone of planting 5,000 trees. With your valuable contribution, we can make a real impact in combating deforestation and preserving the precious habitats of rainforests. Your donation will enable us to further our efforts in creating a sustainable future.
We encourage you to join us in making a difference. Here are some simple ways you can contribute:
-
Donate to our fundraiser: Each dollar you contribute will directly plant one tree, helping us inch closer to our target.
-
Spread the word: Share our campaign on social media and encourage your friends and family to donate.
Infoglen’s Contract Management Success Story
Transforming the SOW Process: Streamlining Contract Management for Enhanced Operational Efficiency
The Problem
Infoglen faced significant challenges in efficiently managing their customer contracts.
They lacked a centralized system to store contract data, resulting in scattered information across various platforms.
This made it difficult to track approvals, amendments, and renewal deadlines, leading to missed opportunities and operational inefficiencies.
Additionally, the Finance and Operations teams required better visibility and accessibility to efficiently manage contract resource plans, rates and changes.
Solution
Infoglen introduced a custom solution in Salesforce, tailored to store all types of contracts, including Statement of Works (SOWs) and Purchase Orders. This central repository allowed them to create detailed records for each contract, capturing all essential details accurately.
The system efficiently tracked approvals, amendments, resource allocations, and price adjustments for SOWs. Additionally, automated workflows were built to send timely reminders and alerts to the Finance team, Account Managers, and Operations team when contracts were due for renewal or extension. This proactive approach ensured no critical deadlines were overlooked.
Infoglen established an automated approval process that streamlined resource allocation and rate changes. This improved the efficiency of contract management, reducing delays and manual intervention.
A custom dashboard was created to present key metrics, such as the total number of SOWs, the number of renewals, and the total revenue generated from contracts. This data-driven visualization enabled better insights into contract performance and decision-making.

CRM Trends
Voice-Enabled Salesforce CRM
Voice-enabled Salesforce CRM has brought about a transformative revolution in the sales landscape, delivering remarkable improvements in productivity and user experience. By seamlessly integrating voice recognition technology into the CRM platform, sales professionals can now perform tasks and access critical information through simple voice commands, liberating them from manual input and navigation.
Key advantages of voice-enabled Salesforce CRM:
Enhanced Sales Productivity: Sales representatives can effortlessly update customer records, log activities, and create tasks while on the go, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual typing. This allows them to allocate more time to building relationships and closing deals, boosting overall sales productivity.
Improved User Experience: The intuitive and natural interaction provided by voice-enabled CRM significantly enhances the user experience. Voice commands are accurately interpreted and executed, enabling users to retrieve information, generate reports, and perform complex searches with ease. This streamlined experience reduces the learning curve for new users and increases overall efficiency.
Challenges in achieving accurate voice recognition:
Accent and Speech Variations: Variations in accents and speech patterns can pose challenges for accurate voice recognition. CRM systems need to continually improve voice recognition algorithms to account for diverse linguistic patterns and deliver consistent performance across different users.
Background Noise Interference: Background noise can affect the accuracy of voice recognition, potentially compromising data integrity. Ongoing advancements in noise cancellation technologies are essential to minimize the impact of background noise and ensure reliable voice recognition.
The promising future of voice-enabled Salesforce CRM:
The future of voice-enabled Salesforce CRM holds tremendous potential for further advancements. The convergence of voice recognition technology with artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms will pave the way for intelligent recommendations, voice-based analytics, and predictive insights. These developments will empower sales teams with valuable data-driven insights, facilitating informed decision-making processes and driving even greater success.
