The B2B Transition: From ‘Business’ to ‘Brand’
Driving Growth & Loyalty through Brand Power
If I were to quiz the readers about the two brands being represented by the mascots shown here, I’ll hardly get any wrong answers. One is a leading cloud-based CRM platform provider and the other is India’s largest dairy brand.
‘Should we focus our resources on generating immediate business or should we focus on creating a brand to reap long term benefits’ is a dilemma most companies often face. While it can be a tough decision to make, let’s understand how perception of a brand can influence the business.
A strong corporate brand, especially in the B2B space, is not just about maintaining consistency in logos, design, language, etc. but it reflects an organization’s values whilst creating credibility in the eyes of its customers, employees and other stakeholders.
Salesforce, for example, has successfully managed to establish a brand image through various thought leadership initiatives (organizing Dreamforce, generating high quality content), engaging with customers on public forums (through testimonials, joint sessions, case studies, etc.) and implementing the 1-1-1 philanthropic model.
How does this help Salesforce? The robust branding allows them to remain a market leader despite charging a premium for its products and services. They are also now recognized globally, making it easier for them to enter new markets or attract new customers.
How can emerging companies set on the ‘brand establishment’ journey?
-
Maintain a consistent brand messaging across all channels and ensuring it aligns with the culture
-
Develop a strong visual identity in the form of logo, brand colors, website and asset designs
-
Encourage employees to not just follow the branding but also to promote it as they represent the brand while engaging with external stakeholders
-
Engage with satisfied customers and use their voice to talk about the company’s excellent services/products and top-class customer service (important especially in the service industry)
-
Be transparent and genuine in communication to build a positive mindshare among customers and prospects
-
Constantly monitor the brand performance and adapt the strategies to keep improving
The journey towards building a robust brand is an investment in the future. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. By prioritizing brand building, companies not only solidify their market position but also create a powerful asset that can weather economic storms and outpace competitors. Remember, a strong brand is more than just a logo or tagline; it's a promise kept, consistently delivered, and experienced by every stakeholder.

Infoglen Empowers Education in Gurugram

At Infoglen, social responsibility is at the heart of everything we do. This month, our Gurugram team partnered with Chetna NGO, making a real difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
Chetna operates 11 centers across Gurugram, providing vital education and skills training to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds reintegrate into mainstream schools. Our team visited one such center near Vatika Chowk, interacting with the Chetna team, school staff, and the children themselves.
We were inspired by the NGO's dedication and the enthusiasm of the children. Chetna offers after-school tutoring and mentorship programs for children who are admitted into formal education, ensuring these children continue to receive the resources they need to thrive. To further support their educational journeys, Infoglen donated school uniforms to 15 students who recently secured admissions in regular schools.
By collaborating with Chetna, Infoglen was able to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged students, doing our bit to ensure their successful education.

Going Green in Gurugram: Three Years of Tree Planting
We're thrilled to share that Infoglen has once again partnered with IAmGurgaon for its third annual tree planting initiative in Gurugram, India! This year, we joined forces to contribute to the creation of The Aravali Creek, a beautiful new community walking path filled with lush greenery.
It was an incredible day filled with a shared commitment to environmental sustainability. Our team rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty, planting saplings that will soon transform the area. Beyond the physical act of planting, this event was a valuable opportunity to learn about the crucial role of trees in our ecosystem and the steps we can take to protect them.
This partnership aligns perfectly with Infoglen’s dedication to fostering a greener future. By participating in initiatives like these, we not only contribute to environmental conservation but also strengthen our bond as a team. We're incredibly proud of our employees for their enthusiasm and commitment to making a positive impact.

Success Story
Boosting Axiad’s sales efficiency by 25% through Salesforce
About The Client
Axiad is a California-based cybersecurity company specializing in identity and access management solutions. It provides secure, user-friendly, and scalable authentication methods to protect enterprises from cyber threats. Their platform helps organizations manage and safeguard their digital identities, ensuring compliance and enhancing security.
Problem
The company faced several challenges, including a lack of in-house expertise in CRM Analytics, connecting to their existing Salesforce data and generating insights from this data. They needed dashboards for a comprehensive view of their revenue pipeline, team performance, and quarterly forecasts. Additionally, they required customizations to meet specific needs, such as filtering dashboards by account scores, dynamically displaying charts of top-scoring accounts and related opportunities, and tracking metrics like average sales volume, closed-won sales, win rate percentage, average days to close a deal, and team performance.
Solution
Connecting Multiple Data Sources: Though CRM Analytics is integrated within Salesforce, we enhanced its functionality further by creating custom data recipes tailored to the client's business needs. This process included incorporating and linking multiple data sources including salesforce data to ensure precise synchronization and seamless integration within the Salesforce environment.
Dashboard Configuration:
We designed and configured dashboards to display the most relevant metrics for the client, including:
-
Account Scoring Filters: Dashboards were customized to filter and display data based on the client’s scores.
-
Dynamic Charts: Created real-time charts that showed which accounts had the highest scores and which opportunities were associated with these accounts.
-
Sales Metrics: Included metrics such as average sales size, closed-won sales, win rate percentage, and average days to close.
-
Team Performance: Developed comparison charts to track how many opportunities each sales representative closed.
-
Revenue Overview: Provided an overarching view of revenue, integrating all critical sales data points.
Data Recipes: Our team developed data recipes to transform and present data accurately on the dashboards.
Scheduled Data Updates: Ensured that the data sets were regularly updated by scheduling data recipes and addressing outdated information.
Customization: The entire dashboard was customized to meet specific business needs, far beyond the standard charts provided by Salesforce. Key customizations included:
-
Forecast Customization: Adjusted to reflect the client’s business definitions for forecasting.
-
User-Specific Views: Enabled display of relevant data for specific user roles, despite having many users in the organization.
-
Open Pipeline: Configured to show open pipeline metrics accurately.
-
Average Sales Size by Lead Source: Displayed average sales size through various lead sources.
-
Win Rate Percentage: Included precise calculations of win rate percentages.
-
Open Opportunities: Highlighted open opportunities to track ongoing prospects.
-
Custom Global Filters: Implemented global filters tailored to the client's requirements, providing a flexible and focused data view.
