HackaGlen 2020 : Infoglen’s Hackathon for Innovative Salesforce Products

12 November 2020, San Jose : Infoglen is proud to share about its 1st edition of HackaGlen.

It was an engaging month long event with multiple single & 2-member in-house teams.

HakaGlen was orchestrated by Leelalu Chai (Director of Engineering) with mentors (Business & Delivery Leads) available to the teams in refining the concepts.

Our contesting teams were brilliantly managing to code in extra time along with their regular project works – a true show of dedication towards excellence.

Grand Finale

Finalists presented on 15th & 16th October, the judges were John Herson, Director of Engineering, Rapid7; Joshua Mooney, Business Systems Manager – Google Health; RK Rao, SVP – Software Applications, Inteliquent.

The criterion on which the winners had to be decided included innovation, technical feasibility & deployability, business potential and value to Infoglen, WOW factor or uniqueness, and quality of the final demo in terms of finish and polish.

The judges after much deliberation gave the verdict for – 1st Prize, 1st Runner Up; 2nd Runner Up.

Infoglen’s Haroon Ahmad, CEO and Saba Ahmad, COO appreciated 3 more teams with the following recognitions – People’s Choice Award; CEO’s Award for Highest Business Impact; & CEO’s Award for Most Innovative Solution.

Congratulating the winners, Haroon said “I am very proud and happy with the team’s enthusiasm and the ideas they came up with for Hackaglen 2020. We will now work together to get them off the ground and put them up on AppExchange”.

Highlighting Infoglen’s commitment to innovation and customer focus, Saba opined “Hackathon helps create a spirit of collaboration, synergy and trust within the company and helps identify the risk takers and the intrapreneurs, we must support people to outshine themselves”.
